Ind. Law - Valpo Law's "nontraditional" law graduates

A story today by Amy Lavalley of the Gary Post-Tribune begins:

VALPARAISO -- Jeffery Earl and JoBeth Cruz joined about 140 classmates Saturday at the commencement ceremony for the Valparaiso University School of Law.

Earl, 37, and Cruz, 46, fit into a niche group of their class. Over a five-year period, from 2002 to 2007, an average of 27 percent of the law class was comprised of non-traditional students, or those 26 and over.

The ILB suspects the percentage at IU Law-Indianapolis at least matches Valpo's 27%.
