Ind. Gov't. - Indiana proposal among finalists for Lincoln Museum
Anne Gregory of the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette is reporting at noon today:
The Allen County Public Library issued a statement Wednesday morning saying that Indiana is among the finalists to become the permanent home of the Lincoln Financial Foundation’s collection of Abraham Lincoln artifacts and documents.The statewide team, led by groups from Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, was informed by the foundation Tuesday that the proposal is among those making it to the last round of reviews, the statement said.
Organizations involved with the effort include the Allen County library system, the Indiana State Museum, the Indiana Historical Society, the Indiana State Library and the Friends of the Lincoln Museum.
