Ind. Law - Golf cart bill is on third reading
Correcting this ILB entry from April 2nd, where I wrote:
[The ILB] has posted many entries on golf carts and on the sustained interest of citizens all around the state in being able able to legally use the economical golf cart as transport on city streets. Five bills to accomplish this goal were introduced this year, all remain in first house committee. This is true. But it turns out a bill that started out in the House dealing with "farm wagons" has been amended on second reading in the Senate, via a motion by Senator Stutzman dated April 6th, to cover "Off-road vehicles, farm wagons, and golf carts." The bill, HB 1483, is eligible for final passage in the Senate today. Sponsors are: Hershman, Stutzman, R. Young, Steele.
