Ind. Law - "Ex-state rep. Oxley charged over claim"
Updating this ILB entry from June 28th, Jon Murray reports today in the Indianapolis Star:
The Marion County prosecutor filed charges today against a former state lawmaker and recent candidate for lieutenant governor who avoided a public intoxication arrest by misrepresenting himself as a legislator.Former Rep. Dennie Oxley II, 38, faces charges of impersonation of a public servant, a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. A warrant was issued after charges were filed this morning in Marion Superior Court.
