Appellants/Defendants Thomas Smith, Michael Heffern, Tina Whiting, Addison Pijnapples, and Roderick Berry (collectively, “Appellants”) bring this consolidated interlocutory appeal from the trial court's denial of their motions for a change of judge. Appellants contend that the trial court erred in denying their motions for a change of judge because certain statements allegedly made by the trial judge suggest that the trial judge was biased or prejudiced against the Appellants.
