Ind. Gov't. - "IURC review supports law judge's rulings"
So reports The IndyStar's John Russell about the just-completed internal IURC investigation of Scott Storms' rulings while sitting as ALJ on Duke Energy matters. The story, which will appear in expanded version in tomorrow's paper, begins:
Under fire for a growing ethics scandal involving Duke Energy Corp., the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission said today said it has wrapped up an internal investigation into the matter, concluding that a former administrative law judge "did not deviate" from standard legal practice in most cases.In only one case, involving storm damage from last winter to Duke equipment, did the investigation not draw any conclusion, saying the issue needs to be studied further.
