Ind. Courts - "Workplace shooter gets 17 years"
Updating this March 11, 2010 ILB entry, headed "Timing was terrible on guns at work bill," James D. Wolf Jr. of the Gary Post-Tribune is reporting today in a story that begins:
VALPARAISO — The 61-year-old Portage man who fired a shotgun into his workplace last year was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Monday.Edgar Clinton Tillery II faced up to 20 years in prison for the March 5 incident, where he left a job performance interview and retrieved an automatic shotgun from his vehicle and returned and shot out the glass door.
