Ind. Gov't. - FSSA to pay Barnes & Thornburg over $8 million thru June 2012

Indiana's costs for a legal battle over a canceled welfare outsourcing contract are growing by millions * * * up from $5.25 million in the original 2010 contract.The attorney general's office approved the amended contract Aug. 30.
The firm's attorneys on the case include longtime Republican activist Peter Rusthoven and Brian Burdick, the brother of Daniels' deputy chief of staff.
