[Search all the Transfer Lists: The ILB feature, "Search the ILB Transfer Lists," allows you to do just that, back to Feb. 2004. Check it out. Read the instructions. Note that the search is now current through the April 12, 2013 list.]
Here is the Clerk's transfer list for the week ending Friday, May 10, 2013. It is two pages (and 24 cases) long.
Three transfers were granted last week:
- Ernesto Roberto Ramirez v. State of Indiana is a 2/19/13 NPF COA opinion that concluded:
The trial court properly denied Ramirez’s motion for a mistrial as a result of the incident with Juror 282. Further, Ramirez’s sentence is not inappropriate in light of the nature of the offense and the character of the offender. We affirm.
- Derek Asklar and Pauline Asklar v. David Gilb, Paul Garrett Smith d/b/a P.H. One Trucking, Empire Fire and Marine Insurance Co., d/b/a Zurich is an 11/15/12 COA opinion where the court wrote:
Derek and Pauline Asklar (“the Asklars”) appeal the trial court’s decision to grant summary judgment in favor of Empire Fire and Marine Insurance Company (“Empire”). The Asklars contend that the trial court erred in holding that as a matter of law, Georgia law governs this dispute and that Empire’s uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage limit was only $75,000. Finding that Indiana law should apply in this case, but that Empire’s uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage limit is still only $75,000, we affirm in part and reverse in part.
- State of Indiana v. William Coats is a 2/7/13, 2-1 COA opinion where the opinion concludes: "The trial court properly denied the State’s motion to commit Coats to the DMHA. We affirm."
