You have to be on your toes as you read through the weekly issue of the subscription-only Indiana Legislative Insight. For instance, from Monday's issue, these items on different inside pages:
- In a Wednesday letter to prospective bidders, the Indiana Department of Administration reveals that “the State of Indiana has officially canceled RFP-14-067, Computer Based Sex and Violent Offender Registry. Facts and circumstances have arisen which necessitate this decision.”
- The first tangible consequence of installing a new BMV chief: previous Bureau intransigence over the fee overcharge litigation is lifted, and the class-action lawsuit heads to mediation.
